De Nederlandse Bachvereniging The Netherlands Bach Society was created (as were so many "Bach Societies") to perform the St. Matthew Passion, which it has been doing every Easter for decades. Although the music of Bach is still the core repertoire, under its conductor, Jos van Veldhoven, the ensemble performs and records a wide range of music on period instruments, with a smaller consort, "Capella Figuralis" tackling ealier music requiring smaller forces (in Dutch and English - click the flag)

L'Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne The Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne has been Europe's most accomplished choirs since Michel Corboz founded it. It has recorded many discs, many of which pointed the way for the next generation of "historically informed" performances, and has toured worldwide to great acclaim (French language)

The Theatre of Early Music The Theatre of Early Music is a Montreal-based group set up by counter-tenor Daniel Taylor which focuses on 17th and 18th Century sacred music

The Bach Players The Bach Players is a small ensemble dedicated to performing the music of J.S. Bach, frequently with, and sometimes without singers
